Booking a test?

    I'm in the process of doing my last few lessons. My instructor is hard to nail down for lessons tough.

    Can I apply for a test if I haven't all my twelve lessons done?

    Will it make any difference in my waiting time?

    You can absolutely apply if all 12 aren’t logged on EDT portal.

    I did so myself 2 months ago with 8 lessons done and my instructor was aware of this and ensured all 12 were logged prior to my test date.

    RSA will let you hold off on accepting a date if your instructor hasn’t updated your EDT record. It mentions this when you add yourself to the waiting list and when you get the email offering to book a test.

    My son has mislaid his book with the 12 stamps of his lessons !

    Can he still apply for the test ? does it automatically register on the EDT portal after each lesson or are my cluching at straws

    Hi.

    The lessons are not automatically uploaded, but the instructor is supposed to do so as soon as possible after each lesson.

    If the twelve are there he is good to go. Logbook is not needed.
