    Hi,

After each lesson your driving instructor should have uploaded your EDT lesson to the RSA website. You should check here:- https://www.rsa.ie/services/learner-drivers/my-edt-portal

The RSA do not use the logbook to check, only the MYEDT portal.

If they have been uploaded then you are free to move.

    Hi,

On completion of an EDT lesson the instructor must check it off as soon as possible

Ask him nicely but do not accept any nonsensical excuse. Should only take him a minute or two.

Not uploading after each lesson appears to be some instructors attempt to anchor the pupil. stops them from leaving, going to another instructor.

PS The only possible reason he can not upload the lessons is if he is no longer a registered ADI. The second he loses his crdentials he is locked out of the portal.

When I retired as an ADI I wanted to check something on my portal the next day, could not was locked out.

    Hi,

See the RSA website now includes an ADI complaint form. So if after your polite request and if not uploaded within a few hours go to :-

    https://www.rsa.ie/help-support/online-support-centre/details/learner-drivers/driving-lessons/i-want-to-make-a-complaint-against-an-adi

Simply provide the dates of the lessons and the ADI number and query is he still on the ADI register. You can also upload documents so you could evem scan upload the relevant pages of the logbook
