    Hi

Travel insurance up to now wasn't something I thought about as I paid it via my AIB credit card. Looking ahead and want to cover the family for the trip to London, annual trip to parent's house in Spain and visiting my sister in Canada once a year from now on. What are the best options? Should i do it with Laya who I'm insured with for Health Insurance or is there a better annual option out there? Is cancellation due to Covid covered by anyone?

    Thanks in advance

The best i could find that covered world wide incl US and Canada was Chill Insurance. The annual cover was about 35 quid ish for the Gold package, the excess was much less and the cancellation cover was much more than the standard package.

It covers Covid cancellation, but most i looked at did. The caveat being that you aren't going to somewhere the government has a travel warning on.

+1 for Chill. Used them for a one off trip over Christmas and will be using them again soon for annual multi-trip incl. USA

Many thanks for the posts. I went with Chill. They seem very reasonable and the Winter Sports was a free extra also
