I've been using a pihole for the last about 5 years without issue but notice in the last few months it's no longer nearly as effective.

It's all up to date etc but it has not helped.

Has anyone else had issue recently? I'm considering doing a fresh reinstall but I want to see first if there is any other option before I go to that length.

Just check that you computer is still using the PiHole as the DNS server.

I've just checked mine and it's been increasing the amount of sh1te blocked over the last couple of months.

So has your DHCP been altered maybe, as per @Skittle's suggestion.

It seemed that everything was in order.

I went for a reinstall and it came up that the SD card was on the blink.

I'll give it another go in a few days with a new card to see what happens.
