Sold out flights

    Hi,

There was a Ryanair flight I was going to book for a stag this weekend from Prague to Dublin on Sunday (already booked the outbound flight but couldn’t afford to book the return at the time). I was about to book the flight this afternoon but it is after selling out. The only alternative is a Aer Lingus flight for €300. Based on people’s experience is there much prospect of more tickets becoming available for this flight or should I just bite the bullet and book the Aer Lingus flight?

    Thanks

If it's booked out, it's booked out. Ryanair don't release seats nearer to the date .

Yeah, once it's gone, it's gone. Ryanair don't go back on flights in that way. Worth looking at alternative airports and car hire possibly? I've saved in Europe using that method. Best of luck with your travels.

You could look at doing a reroute from the airport to a UK or French airport and then onward to Dublin.

Book a flight the following day?

A lot of other airlines offer free rebooking these days, but not Ryanair. Not sure there are too many people booking the flexi fares. If it's sold out then I guess the only way tickets will become available again is if people change their flights, which probably isn't that likely with Ryanair.

If it was me I'd try flying back a day early or late, maybe that would work out better.

Hope one of the lads gets Covid and get a name change for his flight.

Thanks for all the replies! Figured it was too late but said I’d ask on the off chance there was any hope of more tickets popping up. Trying to save on annual leave so not really an option to fly back the following day. Looked at connecting flights on Sky Scanner but none that suited (too tight for change overs). Guess I’ll just have to bite the bullet and go with that Aer Lingus flight. Thanks again for the replies.
