I'm fairly certain I got caught by a go safe van yesterday albeit not by a whole lot, I'm just wondering about how they send on the details of people they catch to the ndls? I rang the ndls and she told me there's nothing on the system, would that mean I'm safe or is it still possible? First time in 13 years so absolutely raging with myself.

You'll find out within 14 days on average.

Sit back and watch the letter box.

Not much more you can do.

It might have been off anyway. I've definitely had a few close calls but no letter

If you have none at present try not to worry too much about it as you will only have 3 . Use it as a wake up call . Try having 9 points - in past - for doing slightly over limit and done twice in 10 mins one night - then you have something to worry about

They will send letter to registered address of vehicle so check that that is correct.

You may have been going slower than you thought. There are some phone apps that show you real Gps speed versus speed displayed on the car.

Getting points may or may not impact your insurance premiums.

Do you know the speed displayed on your Speedo when you went past the van? The car will typically over-read by around 10%, and the vans have a margin of error for roughly 10% too.
