    Looking at upgrading to z few better batteries, whats the better battery ,is it the higher ah number or v number??

    stay with the voltage of the tool you're using it for - the V number, it is going to be something like 18V. you don't want to go for a different value there.

    the AH number (amp-hours) is the one you want, bigger is better.

    Ok. So something like 18v and 6ah would be decent. The smaller 2ah ones that came with tool aren't great.

    54v v 18v .

    if you have only 18v tools then your not getting a lot more for the higher price. better off with more of the 18v. only diference is that some tools will work better with the 54v bat due to the diferent cells that allow the power out faster . you can realy see the diference on the grinders.

    personal preference. 4 or 5 ah is a nice size and weight. but 2ah are really nice on the drywall screw gun etc.


    it realy comes down to how many tools you will be using at one time. some days i have 15 tools on the go so need a lot of baterrys to not be changing over to use each one
