Rapid antigen test for spain

Folks apologies if this has been discussed before.

Im travelling to barcelona on tuesday. I have not received a booster shot and i am past the 277 days since my last shot of the initial vaccine.

Here is what is quoated on the spanish gov website.

• Nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT), which detect the genetic material of the virus (e.g. PCR, TMA, LAMP, NEAR etc.), carried out within 72 hours prior to departure for Spain.
• Rapid antigen detection tests (RAT), which detect the presence of virus antigens, carried out within 24 hours prior to departure for Spain. The accepted tests are those approved by the European Commission, which can be found in the following lin

I was going to get a test through these.

Will the 24 hr RAT definatly cover me or should i get the PCR to be on the safe side.

OH was in the same boat last week, my understanding is that antigen is fine but has to be within 24 hours. He decided on PCR in the end so he could have it out of the way earlier. €59 with randox.

Then of course wasn't actually checked by anyone 🙄
