using a Fritzbox 7530 as a media server

    Okay so I'm with Pure and have been using a Fritzbox 7530 since December. I've plugged a USB hard drive into it and have been using is as a media server. So far its worked quite well, however I hit a weird problem, I just copied a new movie I downloaded to the attached drive, however when I connect to the Fritzbox media server (I use VLC player) I don't see the new file I copied over.

    I also deleted movie from the drive buts its still showing up in the media server playlist.

    I tried the following troubleshooting steps.

    -Unmounted and remounted the drive in the Fritzbox UI.

    -Disabled and re-enabled the media server option Ftitzbox UI

    -Rebooted router.

    Anyone have any ideas?
