Lost licence TEST IS TOMORROW

    Hello,

I always come to boards for help but this is my first time posting.

My driving test is tomorrow and I've just realised right now that the licence I have in my wallet is my expired one (since end of Feb 22) and not my renewed one.

I'm just wondering if this has ever happened someone else and if there's any chance that I call the NDLS in the am that they'll be able help? It's valid until 2024 and I have all the information from it but for the life of me I don't know what happened the physical card itself.

I'm just so worried because I've been waiting for a test since October and there seems to be a backlog again. I also realise how incredibly stupid I am right now but I'm in a real panic so please don't just dwell on that!

Thanks in advance if you have any advice!!

If you can recall ever having the new licence in your hand ie. which room in the house you were in and work back from there.

Check all the places you think it might have been put for safe keeping.

I don't think the NLDS will be much help.

    Good luck.

Happened to me although I didn’t have an expired one. I had to wait 6 months for another test.

Why do you need to do a driving test if you already have a licence?
