Hi folks I want to install a Solid Fuel Range, and keep my kerosene boiler as a back up.

Currently have 13 downstairs rads of big and small. And 10 upstairs big and small mix.

    Ita a dormer bungalow.

I can only put the Range in one spot in the kitchen which is the other end of the house from the hot press which is upstairs.

It would be about 40ft between hot press and Range.

I want to use the range/cooker for heating and cooking,my main question is it possible to be done with the distance between range and HP.espically with HP being upstairs.

I am assuming there will be pumps need to run the hot and cold water to and from.

Thanks in advance for any info..
