i bought a radio, mp3 player , it has a standard 2 pin ac slot .on the label it says power 3 watts, battery aa 4 1.5v batterys.

on the side it says battery accumator on off,

i think that means battery charger . on the box i says built in high capacity battery.

i presume this can be charged by using 220v power cable.

on the top it says Dc in 5 volt. is it safe to use a 5 volt 400ma power supply.

whats the purpose of the 5v power supply. 5v 3 watts, eg do i need to use a 1amp 5volt charger.

should i plug in my 5volt 400 ma power supply and see it it works.

i think the 220v ac input is for charging the internal battery.

    i have no manual,

on the box it says Meier M-u94 fm radio usb/sd, card player
