Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sedgefield 5.08

Wake Up Early ~ 4/1 won over further lto on his first run in Britain. Should like the soft ground, but has to lump 12-7 today. Can't be ruled out, but doesn't make much appeal overall.

Ballintogher Boy ~ 9/2 also has solid claims going by his 2nd over C & D two runs back. He also won over shorter lto on good ground. Difficult to split these two, plus they're the only ones that look likely here, but I think I'll swerve them today.

Will go with two e/w in this.

    CLASSIC ESCAPE 15/2 Boyle/Lads e/w

Has been running okay in his four runs for his latest trainer. Is down 10lbs since his most recent win. Soft ground a slight worry, but he did come 2nd over an almost similar trip at the course in November 2020 on softish ground. Looks good enough to win a race at this level at some stage - maybe today. Trainer Phil Kirby is in form too.

    TO THE LIMIT 8/1 Boyle/Lads e/w

Flopped in a better race lto at Carlisle, but has been very consistent apart from that.

8:00 Kempton. Secret Strength is in my notebook (needed the run, good headway wide), he was like 12/1 last night; I planned to look at him closer this evening, and what I see? 7/2! I'm like wha?! yeah, our dear friend Hugh from ATR tipped him earlier and he's getting totally hammered right into favoritism... I left it be, and ventured off to look elsewhere.

7:00 Across The Nile 9/2 is my pick for tonight, her and fav Lucayan form is closely tied by Queen of Burgundy, based on that they should finish close together tonight too, both like to race prominently, now Across the Nile has worse draw but the field isn't the biggest either... off the same mark, the same jockey, GL.

Yeap, I can't complain returned 11/2. I should try to do forecast someday when it's so close between two at the top.
