Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

Install new bifolds before or after new flooring?

    Hi,

I'm planning to replace my patio doors with bifolds and I'm also planning to install new flooring (the old one is carpet, the new one will be tiled).

Should I install the bifolds first or the new flooring?

I've asked a few tradesmen and they're split roughly 50%-50% about which one should be done first.

Just to add some more confusion into the mix, I'm also planning to have the walls replastered, and the plasterer said I should do the bifolds first, then the plastering, then the new flooring last.

    Thanks in advance!
