Flying within Ireland

Just a quick one ,

Do you need a passport to fly form Dublin to Kerry ?

One of my kids is yet to receive there passport & so have had to cancel going to Spain (no biggie) ,Weh ave decided to take a short break in Ireland & would love to still get them on a plane ,

Can i take a kid on an internal flight without a passport ?

I think Ryanair is the only airline serving the route? They require all passengers, including children, to have a government-issued photo ID, even on internal flights. It doesn't have to be a passport, but for a child what else would it be? They're not likely to have a driver's licence.

Ryanair will take a birth cert for an under 18 on that flight (and that flight only when it comes to flights from Dublin)

You could also go to Donegal (on Aer Lingus) or GB (on anyone but Ryanair more or less, but check each airline - under 16 don't need anything when with parents on Aer Lingus to GB)
