maltese ear yeast infection

i have a 4 1/2 month old male maltese bichon mix. he has an ear infection, diagnosed by vet as yeast infection. . He also scratches a lot. He has some brown staining around his eyes and under his chin. Is there any particular brand of food that we should feed him to improve his situation?
