    Hi All,

Just looking for some advice here.

Looking to continue my leanto all the way to the shed.

    4.3m wide by 2m length.

I want to avoid a column in the middle so thinking I'll have to go with 4" box iron to carry the span.

Thinking I need to build the steel into both walls as the garage wall is cavity block

    Concerns about uplift from wind.

Concerns about technically joining two buildings.

Any advice from all the fully qualified structural engineers here :D

As per the forum charter you won't get any structural advice here I'm afraid.
