cost of tiling

    just looking to get an idea of the cost for laying tiles and timber flooring. Just the labour. It would be a new build, with large square/rectangular rooms, no odd shapes etc.

    maybe per sq yard

    For smaller tiles (less than 70x70cm) it’s about €18 per square yard.

    Bigger tiles €20-€22 per square yard.

    Those are prices quoted for a current job in the midlands.

    Seeing prices around 28 to 32 per square meter in South East. New build, large job with some small tiles and lot of larger tiles.

    thanks , got a price of €20 a sq yard, which I was thinking was reasonable enough

    I was quoted 3k for a 2x2x2m bathroom but requires studs in old walls, cementboard and plywood on floor
