Can I be a VAT registered partnership AND a non VAT sole trader at the same time?

I'm part of a VAT registered partnership than runs a sport business.

Can I own/run a separate business in a totally different industry that is not VAT registered as a sole trader? The second business is a coffee van.

Is there any way to do this, as the coffee van turnover would be well below the VAT threshold.

    Thanks for your help!

Yes. A partnership and sole trader are two separate entities.
