    HI,

    due to travel to the US Friday week one of the party has an expired passport booked the emergency passport which will be available by 3pm Tuesday. Requesting the ESTA after that for flying on Friday at 1 pm - how long does it currently take for an ESTA

    I filled out the form online which took about 10 mins, and was approved within about 3 hours.

    usually approved within 72 hours but can be quicker

    Is there any issue completing a family ESTA And then a child completing one separate when the new passport materialises? Thx

    Personally I'd wait until I had the child's new passport.

    Just make sure to use the official link and not the sponsored ad in Google that charged 100 quid.

    The passport can be collected Tuesday PM so I guess that’ll leave enough time to sort the ESTA for the Friday midday flight
