Dog caught it, think it needs to be preserved.

Just wait until it's well stiff. Slice it open and fill with rice or pearl barley. Sew it up and nail the feet to a board.

Whatever happened to the Golden Pages, where you could search for professionals by job title, call them up and ask them? Ah, to simpler times...

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Yes a twoofer, stuffing your rat and getting JR Hartley's latest on the same day.

Ask your mom for help. You seem to be close.

You would need a tannic acid solution for the hide to preserve it.And then a wire model to stretch it in shape, etc, etc.

Once I went for a stroll in a field and I saw a rat. It was still kind of moving so I thought it was still alive. Went closer and turned it over with a shtick and there I could see 100s of maggots hollowing it out from the inside.

Find a dead crow. Remove the wings and sew them onto the rat. Fashion a conical spike out of a chicken bone. Affix it to the rat’s forehead.

Buy a small caravan, and put your rat/crow/chicken-bone chimera in a glass case inside it. Using a straw, suck out all the air from the glass case, then seal it up with duct tape, to stop decomposition from happening. Black out the windows and shine a torch at the case. Stick a sign outside saying “BEHOLD! THE WONDERS OF THE PYGMY UNICORN PEGASUS!” . Charge people a tenner in.

I’d definitely pay to see that.

I have several glass domes already so presentation won't be an issue

I have a mate who's Scottish and will wear a kilt at every opportunity.

His "thing" is sporrans. he has a cupboard full of them....

he found a local taxidermist who has a freezer full of roadkill that people bring him.

as a result, my mate has a superb badger head sporran, and a really fluffy rabbit tail one. He also got a really old leopard skin (old enough to be legal) so he has one of those too......

That is interesting to know. I have been tempted by a dead fox a few times to get a fox hat made
