Payment No Longer "Pending" Due to Product Delay

    Hi - just a potentially dumb question re: pending payments.

    I bought something online last week using Visa Debit. The purchase showed up as pending in my AIB account as expected. However it turns out the product had limited availability, so I'm now essentially in a queue expecting to receive mine in about a month. But given that a week has passed, the payment is no longer pending and the earmarked funds are again available in my account.

    So could this cause an issue when the vendor tries to fulfil the order, or is it simply a case of if the funds are there, they'll process the transaction normally then?
