Fridge freezer packed in during heatwave last year

Wasn't misused or anything and is in the fridge cabinet in kitched. Not much else i can be considerate of it
Anyone had any experiences like this??? Seeing if this problem could arise again presuming I haven't considered the wrong reason for it packing in
