Network Error ???

I just got a message pop up saying the following "Network Error Windows has detected a IP Address conflict Another computer on this network has the same IP Address as this computer. Contact your Network Administrator for help resolving this issue. More details are available in the Windows system event log." Thing is I'am the only one who uses this computer. Does this mean my computer is hacked ? Also How do I check the Windows system event log ???

Don’t worry, nobody has hacked into your computer. It’s an IP address conflict. No doubt you have another device there in your home like an iPad or phone which are sharing IP address with your computer and data packets are teaching both de ices as they don’t know which one to go to, so you end up with “nothing”.

Below is a guide how to resolve this in Windows. But maybe you might try rebooting your router, the device that directs the WiFi to the devices in your home … switch off and switch on. As an airplane pilot on an aircraft I was on announced he would try turning off and on the engine to see if his computer would work… it did and we got on our way!
