Does anyone know if €15,000 would get me 11 double glazed windows (I was thinking 7k to 8k ) and then upgrade a kitchen (new sink, tiles, presses etc) another 7k? Its a bungalow in the countryside and was built in the 1980's, so it is average sized etc. I know you cant know without knowing exact measurements etc but just a guesstimate as I have no clue. Thanks

I think you may struggle on the windows, I can't speak on the kitchen, we're in the process of getting some windows and doors fitted here, and the price for 9 windows is coming in around 9K, I can't be absolute on that, as there's 2 doors in the final quote, and the 2 doors are at least 5K of the total. A lot will depend on the size of the windows, there is one very large 3 panel window in our quote, and several of the others are not small.

To make matters worse, there is a price increase coming up very soon from our supplier, and with the way other prices around construction are going right now, I'd be nervous of how much of an increase that will be.

Hope that helps, and sorry I can't be more specific.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
