Just don't order the Waldorf Salad, and don't mention the war either :)

Went to it before the plague, yeah good enough night out, bit of craic. Went to it in a country house which I think helped the whole experience. It being in a normal function room might be more of a challenge but I'm sure they have done that as well so know what to do

You might be disappointed- I heard ducks off.

I actually not a fan of the show - Basil annoys me - but we won the tickets so hell, why not.. a night of not having to cook is cool lol

Is there a reason a u is in the title rather than a w, usefully spelt Fawlty Towers, maybe the one with the w is copyrighted.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

The nights themselves are usually branded as whatever the organisers think they can get away with without paying the BBC, unlikely to actually see "Fawlty Towers" "Basil" "Sybil" "Manuel" used

Did that a few years ago and quite enjoyed it

awe it was just great from start to finish.. lovely hotel - drinks in a reception area.. the jokes started there.. so funny.. seemed almost natural.. everything was great - the script, acting, fab setting, met lovely fellow diners, fab food (we even had a choice of mains).. and twas touching too; Sybill gave special mentions to some of the guests... mayb they had to write messages when booking about whom they wer dining with and why - twas a nice personal touch.. lots of laughs on the back of all the antics during and between courses.. a great night had - I would totally pay for it..

PS I think it would be a great work/family night out.. food and fun

    Sounds a laugh

Suppose same vain as the usual Irish comedy with the funny accents. Is putting on a farmers accent really hilarious ?

Did they try and get guests involved?

yes lots of interaction with guests - but not in a over bearing way... and everyone was enjoying the interactions
