Cancelling Reservation on Irish Rail Site

Hello fellow travellers. I booked a reservation on the train which I need to cancel, but although the Irish Rail website has a button to amend or cancel, when pressed it doesn't actually allow you to do so.

Am I correct or perhaps there is a means of doing it?

    Advice please .

Cancellations have to be done 90 minutes before the train's departure (I believe from its starting station rather than your boarding point), and while the ticket is yet to be collected from a TVM.

If you meet both of these requirements there's a chance the booking system is wonky there - it's a brilliant system (compared to some I've seen), but not without faults I suppose. It has been a good while since I've travelled by booked train in Ireland, so I don't remember the exact behaviour there.
