Caravan crash repair invoice dispute

    Hi all,

We had a tip with our caravan and we sent it to a repair centre.

We were told verbally that the cost would be about 2.5 to 3k.

We just received an invoice for well over 7k. We were never consulted about this price increase.

The caravan was only bought for 6.5k so had we known it would be so much we would not have proceeded with this.

We also feel that they are trying to pull a swift one on us.

    Please help.

    W

Is there a breakdown of the charges there in the invoice?

Being told verbally what it can cost isn't worth much if you didn't advise of a max budget or to reach out to you if there'll be anything more.

You are stuck now with the invoice so probably have no say in things, but have a look over the invoice breakdown and go from there.
