Visonic PowerMaxComplete, GSM network error

    Re Visonic PowerMaxComplete.

I recently changed the sim card in the GSM module. Now, the system arms okay but it is reporting a "Network Error" and when the alarm goes off the system fails to call out to my mobile phone like it did before. I have tested the new sim card in a mobile device and it works okay.

I read elsewhere that powering the system down and then on again often helps, but I can't find instructions on how to do that correctly.

    Any advice?

The solution to this is to remember to disable the sim card's pin code whilst it is still in the mobile handset.
