5G is faster for downloading, up to 10 times faster. But what about for trying to book tickets. If two devices are used to say

try for tickets at the same instant, one being 4G, the other 5G, will there be a better chance to get in the queue with 5G ?

Probably not, download speed is not really a factor but latency could be.

Average response time for 5G is about half that of 4G but distance from mast could mean someone on 4G who is much closer to their mast could still have the edge. But since we are talking about milliseconds it is probably not going to be the biggest factor when it comes to thousands of people trying to purchase at the same time. And many other users will have fiber, if the response time has any bearing then fiber users will have lowest.

A stable connection would be the most useful in this situation which may not always be the fastest available depending on area on congestion levels of the networks.

Many thanks for your helpful reply, I’ll forget about 5G for now and see about fibre.
