Refill soadstream cylinder with beer gas

I've a large cylinder of CO2 which I use to refill soadstream cylinders for easy portability. Never had any issues and works great.

The issue is when I brew stout and want to get a proper Guinness head.

I'm wondering if it's worth getting a CO2/nitrogen regulator and use beer gas instead.

Does anyone know if it's possible/safe to refill soadstream cylinders with beer gas, 70/30 CO2/nitrogen mix?

Have to start by saying - I aint got a clue on how to help with your mission,

But was only thinking how nice it would be to have a nice creamy head on my stout yesterday, I hear the nitro is much more expensive,

slightly off topic But where could i get the CO2 And bits to refill my sodastream cylinders, Last year i had to buy the whole sodastream kit just to get the gas for my beer,

no place I could find done the refill because of this brexit thing .

Argos do refills for the Sodastream cylinders.

Theres a place in Bray that refills canisters too, dont know if they do sodastream ones though (AJ Edge Fire Safety Limited).

I got all mine done there during Brexit issues and still use them now. Cheaper than Argos, and avoiding supporting Sodastream.
