Toothpaste

In my household, we have four different brands of Toothpaste because each family member seems to have their own specific brand so it's kind've funny when I'm in the bathroom getting ready to brush my teeth and I have to look through the cabinet in the bathroom to find my toothpaste. We also have three different kinds of mouthwash and three packets of dental floss. Anyway, what's everyone's favorite brand of toothpaste?

My toothpaste is the Sensodyne Pronamel Toothpaste. It was recommended to me by my dentist a few years ago so I've been using it ever since. It's not a bad toothpaste either, it's got an easy spread to it so you don't have to put too much of it on your toothbrush or worry about it spilling all over the place. The taste isn't bad either (no I don't eat my toothpaste) in that some toothpaste brands have a very peculiar taste to them. It's a little pricey admittedly, but it will last you a good long while before you need another pack. Sometimes I'll also use Aquafresh toothpaste as well, just if I want something a little different.

Nothing quite like getting the mouth burnt off you by Euthymol.

I used to use Euthymol, but then discovered it had no fluoride (which is in our water anyway, so not sure if that's a big deal.) Switched to Oral B, as my dentist recommended it.

Been using sensodyne for years. Might try something different, because while I find it does a good job on the teeth, it causes me reach because it's also quite a dry foam toothpaste. Originally used it because the kids didn't like sensodyne, but now they all use it and I'm buying it every other week!

Lidl own brand toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Does the job grand. Tastes ok as well. Tried Sensodyne, couldn't take to it at all.

Lidl's own brand, alternating between mint and herbal flavours.

I bought Aldi own brand last time but it's not a patch on the Lidl stuff.

Couldn't justify spending the extra on branded stuff.

I make my own "craft toothpaste" from PVA glue and a dash of Toilet Duck (they have a mint one). I add hydrogen peroxide and glass dust if I want to go for the whitening version. I've got teeth like piano keys, and gums like the sole of a boot.

You can't be stingy when it comes to your teeth, sensodine is much better than any the competition.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Eucryl-000990-EUCRYL-Toothpowder-Freshmint/dp/B001PMRTN8 mixed with any inexpensive own brand toothpaste. I don't order it off amazon though, as that would be a bit odd. I don't care about the taste as I don't think of bruising my teeth as a gourmet experience.

Feckin peasant. Build 3 more bathrooms and you won't have this problem.

We always bring Euthymol to music festivals. It’s the only thing to clean the Glastonbury off your delf.

Aquafresh or Golgate are the best. Would never use anything else.

I use Kin at the recommendation of my dentist, he asked me to use their mouthwash daily following receiving an implant and I asked about their toothpaste and he also recommended…great for gum and tooth

Just good ole H2O for me.

    None of those industrial chemicals.

You are missing one thing but I find that chlorine trifluoride provides a lifetimes supply.

I remember being told that this was by far the most effective - toothpaste was just to make it taste a bit nicer.

Which is why I choose the cheap Lidl own brand, which tastes very nice and is a quarter of the price of some of the other ones!

Bit OTT with the industrial chemicals, no?

Branded stuff is always on a half price offer and can cost from €1.50 - €2 so it's hardly breaking the bank.

Arm and Hammer. Even my hygienist says it's pointless me going to her any more than once a year at this point because my teeth are usually spotless.
