Not sure if this is the right forum please move it accordingly if not.

Ok I've finally decided to leave 3 after many years on the 22nd this month (30e a month sim free)

My 2 options are An Post 4g with free calls/texts/data etc for 15e but as I was about to go with that I seen Eir 5G similar cept 5G and after 15e first 12 months it's 30e.

What's odd is try as I might I can't find genuine reviews or comments...

Also just to add if it is fine I guess I dump my 100down BB from home and get a 5g router but I don't have much experience on routers.

Thanks for any input in advance.

5g is hit a miss and uptake pretty poor. If its for your phone I'd try the virgin €5 per month for 6 months , it's €25 pm after that but its a sim only deal and can be cancelled at any time.

I just got one and astonished at the speeds , despite it working off the 3 network, I've 3 mobile broadband and speeds slower than the virgin media sim which is baffling.

I didn't change my number to virgin as I'm on a €9.99 pm with gomo for life ( now €14.99) for new customers, going to use virgin sim as a spare and I live quite rural .

Obviously make sure your phone is unlocked, sim free if switching.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.
