Brake disk inspection NCT

Haven’t needed an NCT in a few years.

Brake pads have plenty left on them but there are small ridges on the discs.

Is this OK, I thought I heard about 2 years ago that they can fail for this now even if braking performance OK.

(the disks were like this the last time and it passed about 2.5 years ago, it’s done hardly any miles since but I thought I heard the rules changed)

    thanks

    Marty.

Should be OK my car passed nct with good lip on them. Think there need to be seriously weakened/rusty to fail nct
