Confused if I should make a move

I have been employed as a grade 7 in the HSE since 2015 (on level 6 of the scale) I have been offered a job that all has a pension which is 5% employee 5% employer contributions. I am really convinced to take the job but I am stalling on accepting the offer as I can't figure out if the HSE pension would really give me that…

I have been employed as a grade 7 in the HSE since 2015 (on level 6 of the scale) I have been offered a job that all has a pension which is 5% employee 5% employer contributions. I am really convinced to take the job but I am stalling on accepting the offer as I can't figure out if the HSE pension would really give me that comfort when I retire. The highest I can go is 66k as a grade 7 and this job has a salary of 75k. I'd greatly appreciate help

You are able to start an AVC/PRSA to enhance your pension if the new pension has lower benefits than your existing pension
