Looking for some advice on a fuel card

How do they work? are they worth it or is there a catch that I haven’t seen from DCI’s web site

It all depends on where you get your fuel card from.

I get my card from a work credit union.

I get 4¢ off the pump price.

Other cards offer a weekly price, which can sometimes be more than the actual pump price.

I currently have a number of fuel cards linked to different accounts.

I get 4¢ off by scanning a QR code from the AA , or 3¢ by scanning a QR code from AXA , and then I pay with a fuel card, which gives another 4¢ off, so I save up to 8¢/L .

my advice.. check out your local credit union

Have one from DCI for company, straight forward process getting one (although it may 3 weeks or so before you get it once you have the account setup).

They work like any "credit" card, buy fuel, get an invoice every week and the money comes out of your account.

Standard stuff really, the only real advantage to using debit is the invoicing which is handier for keeping record and and the 1c a litre or so you'll save (with the pumpsaver anyway).

Have a DCI one myself.. Main advantage for me is a single monthly bill (you get invoices every week but it's billed monthly), ability to know in advance what next week's rate will be - until recently!! - and if you find it creeping above local prices, a quick call to them normally gets a few cent off those prices - again until recently!!
