I used to love lyons tea bags and now most times when I make a cup of tea with them, they just leave weird bits floating on the tea, aldis mcgrath red box tea is so much better, ugh so annoying

    Haven't noticed this.

I gave up on Lyons years ago, no taste of tea, Aldi Gold is good for everyday use imo.

They changed to biodegradable bags about a year or two ago and for a long time after that I had several of them tear or burst. But that seems to have settled down now.

They have changed something, finding them very weak in taste & just a bit meh!

    Finding this too.

Is this the green box only or have people found this in the gold blend as well?

Had to buy a box of Barry's for the first time in years there which is a vast improvement and thankfully tastes like tea.

I usually only buy the green box so can't comment on the red box, but the red box generic version in aldi is like Barry's and much cheaper
