Transferring to another course

    Apologies if this has been asked before - I have not been on this forum before

    My daughter is currently in 1st year in a course that was not her first choice. She marginally missed out on what she wanted. Both science courses

    I would like to know what her options would be to transfer. I am asking here as she is a bit timid about asking in the college.

    She will re-apply through the CAO to see if should could do first year again in her preferred course - but would this be possible to simply request a transfer into first year to her preferred course in the new academic year?

    Are there other options?

    Who should she/we be talking to?
