Help with elderly parent getting up at night... need an alert system

Hi. .... am looking for help in monitoring an elderly parent getting up at night and trying to cook/ go outside / et

it has become a problem recently and they are a fall risk as well. We all live in same house

what can you recommend to monitor them at night. We got a baby monitor with camera but sometimes we sleep thru it. Any ideas on a audible alarm to the recipient...?.

Heard there might be a be a door alarm that could call a mobile....
