    Hi All,

Given how much scope and attention EP gets on here I'm surprised no thread for this. In Mitchelstown July 31 - August 2nd, here is the lineup. Coincidentally I have never been, any advice for it?

A very slim lineup, where's the more to be announced... bit, I presume there will be more names added.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

5 months later and no new names added. I'm guessing ticket sales are down this year. Might take another year or two to build up the ticket sales to pre covid numbers

been going most years myself, nice festival, small, akin to early EP days

It must have changed a lot since I was last there about 7 years ago so, as when I was there, it was basically a field with two large stages, a few bars, a few DJs dotted around, and a mess of a campsite with sh1tloads of local 17-21 year olds getting hammered for the day.

Far more like Oxegen, and nothing like early EP IMO.

I quite enjoyed it this year. I thought Friday seemed to be very quiet but the numbers really picked up on Saturday and Sunday obviously helped by the great weather on the Sunday. Highlights were Fatboy Slim, Dec Pierce and Thumper
