Theory test for older gentleman

    Hi there


    i’m just looking for some advice for my father needs to do his theory test and he wouldn’t be the best with anything technology wise, i’m just wondering what would be the best option everyone my age goes on the theory test online and practices etc but i’ve tried to show him how to use the computer but no real luck i’m a bit stuck on ideas what to do so he can pass it any ideas folks ?

    He has to use the computer so its prob a good idea to get some practice on that.

    Would he use tablet? There is the official app, and its very good and all it is is touch for the right answer . Its probably his best option.

    cheers for the reply no tablets i might try that if desperate would have to buy a tablet though, i was thinking of photocopying some of the questions and putting them in a booklet or some sort of that but seems a lot of hassle just very confused what to do

    I'm only recently after sitting the exam. It would he really important to get him used to using a computer or tablet as mentioned, the test is carried out on a computer.


    Secondly, by using the online or official app, you are instantly told after the exams which ones you got wrong and you can learn the correct answers.


    I did this twice aday for 3 weeks, and even at that 3 or 4 questions came up I wasn't familiar with

    When he does the exam he needs to be able to use the PC, if he hasn't used one before it may be of putting for him won't help with the exam
