Yeah so phone is a Samsung S5. In all likelyhood looking at a new phone. Other than this memory problem no other issues with. Working perfectly

Tried the "lite" versionof whatever apps I can get away with, but they just aren't the same. There's just so many updates and so often the phone isn't able to live with (me neither)

Most apps dont work on external storage so other than a new phone is there any alternatives to this

And out of interest even with a new phone, I'm eventually going to run into the same problem again down the road :D

So do I just have to deal with this or is the a better life and money saving alternative

    Calling on all you techies

What size memory has the phone? It is pretty old at this stage to be honest

Awe yeah it's an old one. I have this one 4 years i think now.

It was a reconditioned phone or whatever it is they call it, so add another year or 2 to that.

That's whats killing me is as its only a memory issue, everything else is perfect.

If someone bought this phone in the any of main phone shops and lasted this long they would be amazed too

Think it was a 32 or 64 ram the guy sold to me. But it was a serious improvement on what I had at the time so I didn't hesitate and have it 4 years and no problems to prove its worth.

The memory size at the time seemed a lot

It's only for the apps that keep updating and taking up room. Plus i only keep apps i really cant live without

I just don't fancy the investment of new phone right now

"First released 11 April 2014" - It wasn't exactly new when you got it. I assume you have the 16GB model. Cheap phones nowadays have 128GB. Its not a problem.
