    Hi,

Based in Dublin and looking at holidays on TUI Ire and UK.

Same holiday flying out of Belfast is coming in at €1000 cheaper than if I flew out of Dublin.

Anyone flown out of Belfast before when deals like this come up. Hassle with the trip up and back from Belfast but it's huge saving.

    Cheers,

    Rob

Yes done Belfast some years back, airport is small and a little remote, probably half or less than the size of 1 of Dublin's terminals, no issue. Just make sure you pre-book parking before you go if you are taking your car. Travel insurance products offered from any package holiday is unlikely to be valid for non UK/NIRL residents, I'd get a seperate policy from some provider in Irish market.

Just an update, booked TUI all inclusive from Belfast and it was fine saved €1k all in on the same TUI holiday flying from Dublin. That includes parking and fuel costs.

Belfast airport very small easy to navigate. When we landed we were back in our car with the bags within 30minutes.

Would fly again from there once the savings were worth it.

Last 2 holidays we booked flights from Belfast, despite living beside Dublin airport. Came in nearly half the price.
