would like to hear from any one who currently has Tesco mobile [PAYG or Contract]

    how is coverage in general?

Customer Service ? [or lack there of]

Any issues receiving verification codes from merchants, Banks, other institutions etc...

Any thing else - negative or positive

I was with them for a few months last year on their 20e all in bill pay SIM with 300 international minutes included. I had to go back to 3 because my phone (and several other phones) randomly lost connectivity to the tesco network. You could have full coverage bars, but only when you went to make a call it said network unavailable. In the meantime you had also missed numerous calls. It was easy fixed every time by turning airplane mode on and off again. But missing business calls was just impossible for me. Happened to many others too. Fine on the 3 network, and virgin media also excellent on the same network. Would love to hear if this has been sorted, tesco would not admit there was a problem, but plenty on boards had had the same experience. Pity as it is one of the best deals going. I had no bother with verification codes or anything like that. It took me about 3 months to realise what was actually happening.

I was with them for years and they were grand, only changed due to moving to a company phone. No probs with authentication texts etc.

The issue mentioned above (appearing to have a service but can't actually receive calls) I also experienced and it turned out to be related to the SIM, I had ported to them and was using one from my previous provider. They sent me a new one, one of their own, and once I switched it wasn't an issue ever since.

Customer service was certainly better than the crowd I'm with now anyway,Eir, but that's a low bar anyway.
