Our kitchen light fitting just came loose and as there are no other holes in the fitting, i need to use the same ones again and I need to screw into the same location on the ceiling as it is right in the middle and its where we want it.

My question is how can I attach this to the ceiling when there is already a hole there...?

Those drywall fittings that have been used are useless. Presumably there are no studs where you need them.

I would switch to using snap toggles instead:

These usually need larger holes, like 14/15mm, so you can just drill the existing holes larger. They'll definitely hold it up.
