Hi,
Easy one for the pros ....!
If I have a pair of 3kw strings ,one east ,one west ,
Am I right in saying a don't need a 6kw inverter but rather a 3kw ?

Technically yes... But id still have the 6kw
At mid day, the east could be generating 2kw, and the west generating 2 kw..
It's not a case where it suddenly switches from east to west. Throughout the day east will be falling and the west rising. At mid day they both should be generating the same.
