Wifi symbol beside our usernames?

    I've searched the forum (as best I can on the new setup) but am unable to find out what the wifi symbol below is for. Is it supposed to show when someone is online, and if so, why doesn't it work? I know, not the most pressing issue you probably have on your to-do list, but it's been months now and I've never seen them lit.

    It's supposed to be online or offline status, and no, it doesn't work.
