Solicitor won't release funds from house sale (non resident) until Revenue issue Letter of No Audit.

I am not arguing the solicitor's decision

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this recently? How long is it taking Revenue to turn this around? (straight forward/no cgt due etc)

Last year it was taking 6 weeks approx on average. On one rare occasion 2 weeks. You need to file your 2022 NIL CGT return early though (it is possible) and provide Revenue with the Nil CGT computation .

Wow. If it only took 6 weeks I would be delighted. Anything less would be a complete and utter bonus

I have an accountant looking after all the filing for me
