Sitting room sofas

    Quick question.

We've a new build we're currently getting furniture for. We purchased a four seater fabric sofa for one side of the room but we went based on a recommendation not to get the same colour in a smaller sofa for the other side.

Now I'm struggling to see how having two mismatched colour sofas makes any sense. Two chairs, maybe, but I don't think that would work for the space.

    Appreciate any suggestions!!

A contrasting colour can look really well and actually pull a room together. Just make sure your paint colour suits both sofas and it will look very contemporary, perfect for a new build.

Congrats on the new home too! 🍾🍾

As above contrasting colour or a pattern that compliments the existing couch will work well. Cushions and other soft furnishings can then pull the look together.

Depending on the colour of he sofa you have picked already a nice leather is also often a good option.
