Finding the home of South Wales Irish immigrants, back in Ireland

    Hi

I'm trying to help someone trace where their ancestor came from in Cork, before they emigrated to the Cardiff area. The problem is that you can throw a stick and hit a Timothy Crowley ! He was born about 1850, and his first child was born in South Wales about 1873. The main link would be a marriage record for himself and his wife Ellen Collins (also not a great search name !), but i can't find a marriage for them in Ireland or Wales unfortunately. I've tried Ancestry and irishgenealogy.ie, but no luck. Is there a better source to check ?

    Thanks
